BSAC Bill of Rights

Brandon Sports and Athletic Center is building character through athletics
in our young people by:

establishing a strong value system through which they learn self discipline, work ethic and responsibility.
establishing a deep moral foundation by which they learn to do what is ethical and right, especially when no one is watching.
teaching respect for authority and consideration for others that crosses over into all areas of of life; at BSAC, home, school and in public.
teaching goal-setting through commitment, dedication and training; to resist opportunities for short-term gratification that may sacrifice the rewards of life goals.
demonstrating that good decision-making is the key to successful living and strong leadership; to respect the consequenses of bad decisions made, and learn from all experiences to make the right decisions in the future.
encouraging our young people to develop a personal code of honor and integrity that governs at all levels in their lives.
encouraging our parents, friends, coaches, teachers and members of our community to take an active role in the lives our young people, to become full partners in the character building effort.
