Academy of Early Learning

The objective of the The Academy of Early Learning at BSAC is to offer families an alternative to a traditional type of setting. By exercising the proper combination of freedom and structure, our program is coupled with teachings of self-discipline and respect for others and their property.

Our VPK program includes swimming, gymnastics, and other enrichment programs. Our unique center encourages curiosity and learning through interacting with peers and utilizing small group sizes in hands-on learning centers over our 12-acre property.

Our Florida-licensed center is supported by a qualified teaching staff who practice consistency in guiding, setting reasonable limits and using positive reinforcement as a means of routine discipline. We care for children from4 years of age as of Sept 1 of the current school year . Each of our classrooms are designed to meet your child's needs developmentally, socially, emotionally, academically, and stimulate self-motivation through physical activities.

Our program is based on a simple proven concept. Young children learn best by doing. Each day our children engage in all kinds of fun, hands-on activities that allow them to explore, inquire, and discover solutions first hand. Even the classroom itself is an interactive tool for learning. The space is divided into learning centers that are arranged to invite children to collaborate, solve problems, negotiate, choose and grow. Our VPK curriculum offers five areas of study during our most structured portion of the day. Class starts at 9:00 a.m. and lasts for three hours. Our programming is designed to meet family needs by offering early drop off, lunch and longer, and extended care options.

 VPK(4 year olds):
Our goal for each child is to prepare them for Kindergarten by building self-confidence, completing tasks and learning self-control. Our VPK graduates have a solid foundation because of our multidisciplinary curriculum. Key centers of discovery include: language, circle time, creativity, art, blocks, dramatic play, math readiness, science, practical life, reading readiness, and physical development. Because young children thrive when they feel comfortable and secure, we follow a regular schedule each day. The schedule for our VPK Academy of Early Learning has been carefully planned to give children a balance of self and teacher-directed activities throughout the day.
