Kara Cecil Advances to Finals at the Summer Smash Regional Championship Junior Tennis Tournament

The Brandon Sports and Aquatic Center’s Kara Cecil, 18, advanced
to the semifinals at the Summer Smash Regional Championship Junior
Tennis Tournament hosted by the city of Del Ray September 5 through
September 7, 2009, with a score of 6-4, 4-1. Kara recently graduated
from Durant High School and has signed with Ohio State University.
She trains in the HI Performance Junior Tennis Program at The Brandon
Sports and Aquatic Center under the direction of Coach Alex Golub.
