The Brandon Sports and Aquatic Center is proud to announce its partnership with Hillsborough County in a major youth drowning prevention initiative. The Board of County Commissioners has approved the allocation of $800,000 to assist us in our efforts to build a new pool and retrofit our current pool in order to serve more children and families all across Tampa Bay. We are so grateful and humbled to be recognized as leaders in youth drowning prevention, aquatic excellence and community outreach which will all be enhanced through this project. Currently, BSAC is working with the county to set up timelines for the project. Our fundraising efforts for this project have definitely been enhanced with this major contribution, and BSAC is more than thankful for the county's confidence in our organization.
