This course helps you develop skills and experience valued by colleges and future employers. You'll develop new skills and learn how to deal effectively with people, fostering a "take charge" attitude. You'll also get a participant's manual and tips for securing a lifeguarding job.

Classroom learning and hands-on practice build key skills'

Surveillance skills to help you recognize and prevent injuries.
Rescue skills in the water and on land.
First aid training and professional rescuer CPR to help you prepare for any emergency.
Professional lifeguard responsibilities, like interacting with the public and addressing uncooperative patrons.

SESSION I - from April 19th through May 4th

April 19 - Swim Test noon to 2 p.m. April 24 & 25 - 7:00 to 9:30 p.m. April 26 & 27 - noon to 5:00 p.m. May 1 & 2 - 7:00 to 9:30 p.m. May 3 & 4 - noon to 5:00 p.m.

SESSION II - from May 10th through May 25th

May 10 - Swim Test noon to 2 p.m. May 15 & 216 - 7:00 to 9:30 p.m. May 17 & 18 - noon to 5:00 p.m. May 22 & 23 - 7:00 to 9:30 p.m. May 24 & 25 - noon to 5:00 p.m.

The cost of $225.00 includes books and manuals, instructions, resuscitation mask, and American Red Cross fee. Pre-Course Swim Test will be held at noon on first day of the class. Pre-Course Swim Test is required for all class participants.
