Welcome to Team TRIDENT!
TRIDENT is an acronym for Training and Recreation for the Intellectually
Disabled Enhancing their Natural Talents.
TEAM TRIDENT'S THREE PRONGED APPROACH
The Team TRIDENT Program is focused on three main areas: active recreation, proper socialization and interpersonal skills,
and independent life skills. We aim to provide an enriching environment where our team members can continue to learn and
perfect their interpersonal and life skills, create bonding social relationships with their peers and benefit from organized
activities, games and sports to lead a more active lifestyle.
DAY PROGRAM (MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY, 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.)
The Day Program’s focus is to create an environment where our team members can continue their education of life-skills
that will help them become more integrated members of society while encouraging an active life style with interactive
games and sports training opportunities.
AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM (MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY, 3:30 TO 6:30 p.m.)
The After-School Program is more focused towards encouraging an active life style with interactive games and sports
training opportunities. However, a study hall will be available for homework and projects assigned at school.
