Who We Are:
The Brandon Sports and Aquatic Center is a community-based 501c3 non-profit organization. Our mission is to impact lives daily through superior educational and athletic programming that enhances physical, mental, and spiritual well-being. We are governed by our Board of Directors – a group of voluntary community leaders that have the best interest of our members at heart. BSAC focuses on four main pillars of service: after-school care, youth drowning prevention, sports & recreation, and special needs education.
What We Do:
Here at BSAC, we go above and beyond traditional programming to make a real impact in every child’s life. Our affordable after-school program offers various clubs in robotics, culinary, art, dance, sports, and community involvement. When the school year ends, Camp BSAC offers the best field trips in Tampa Bay.
Adults with intellectual disabilities can learn and grow with peers in our TRIDENT and Pathways programs. We teach personal life skills as well as job training to help students become independent, contributing members of society.
Our exceptional VPK program prepares young children for school far beyond the textbook through social skills and manners.
BSAC has also specialized in swim lessons for over 55 years. Our skilled swim instructors administer over 10,000 lessons per year in conjunction with our mission to prevent youth drowning.
There is a sport or program here for EVERYONE, and we work hard to provide low income families with the opportunity to participate on scholarship.
BSAC was a non-profit of the year finalist in the Tampa Bay Business Journal!
