BSAC had three major leaders to its organization get new titles and positions heading into 2018 as BSAC realigns its operational structure. Congratulations to Amy Moore, Theresa Hickie and Shelby Johnson who all received promotions into new roles.
Moore, who has been with BSAC for over eight years, has been tapped as BSAC’s new Chief Operating Officer (COO) fully in charge of the day to day operations of the organization, including programming, membership, maintenance and finances. Reporting directly to BSAC’s CEO, Moore will be heavily involved with insuring BSAC’s mission and vision are attained through her efforts.
Hickie, who has been with BSAC for over 12 years serving as the Director of Aquatics, has been promoted to Senior Director of Sports Programming overseeing all of BSAC’s learn to swim programs, recreation and competitive aquatics, tennis, membership, pro shop, rentals and sports partnerships.
Johnson, formerly serving as BSAC’s Youth Development Director, has been tapped as the organization’s new Senior Director of Educational Programming. Her area of oversight and leadership will include BSAC’s After School program, VPK, Summer Camp, TRIDENT program, BSAC After School Experience offsite programming and partnerships with Pepin Academies and Livingstone Academy.
