This fall, BSAC will debut a behind the scenes project that has been many years in the making. Children and families at our main campus will soon be able to enjoy a brand new playground, complete with a shade structure.
The playground will be located to the left of the basketball courts and will be visible from the parking lot. It will have two slides, monkey bars, ladders, and other fun climbing apparatuses. Soft green turf will cover the ground and make a pathway to the gated area entrance.
While structured activities and organized games are essential for growth and development, we also understand the importance of free play. Children need the opportunity to socialize with friends, exercise, and spend time outdoors.
We look forward to the installation of our brand new playground, and will keep our families updated with news and announcements!
After-school students in the BSAC Community Club are making an impact by running a food drive for E.C.H.O. of Brandon, an organization striving to end hunger in southeastern Hillsborough County. The food drive will run from October 25th – November 16th for After-School All-Stars, and November 5th – November 16th for students in B.A.S.E.
Students will bring all collected goods to E.C.H.O. on November 28th before taking a tour of the organization to learn more about their positive impact on those in need.
The grade that collects the most donations before the deadline at each after-school location will enjoy an ice cream party!
Please bring nonperishable food items, we suggest the following:
