Students at Stowers BASE came together to create a special thank you gift to show their appreciation for the school's nurse. Each student wrote a thank you note onto a bandage and placed the bandages onto a picture frame. The students were then able to personally give the nurse her special gift!
To show our teachers how much we appreciate them, we made them a special banner. The banner read "Wild about our teachers and staff"!
Second and third grade BASE students were challenged to use their creativity and engineering skills to create a structure that could stand on its own. Students were supplied with twenty-four craft sticks, binder clips, and clothespins to create their sturdy structures.

As a special way to thank you to our local police officers, students created "lifesaver" bags. Each bag was full of lifesaver mints and a personalized thank you message to each officer.
Stowers BSAC Community Club went on a field trip to the local USPS office to tour their facility. They also spoke to postmaster Aaron about his day to day activities. It was such an eye opening experience for the young Stowers kids and they learned so many new things about the USPS Office.
