BSAC would like to recognize Cameron Shack and Kelly Cheney as the Team Leaders of the March! We would also like to highlight Shelby Johnson and Kerwyn Richardson, who were selected as the Team Leaders of February. We’d like to dive into the different roles they actively excel in, so our families can see how they are impacting our organization for the better. BSAC In Full Upgrade Mode for Our Community!

BSAC has been extremely busy over the past couple of years upgrading our leadership team, updating and renovating our main campus and adding more and more features to drive our mission. Our goal is to continue to build on the positive momentum of the past several months and do even more in the weeks and months ahead. Aquatics Expert, Miranda Briggs, Leads New Swim Lesson Program at BSAC

BSAC has officially launched its brand new swim lesson program which offers eight progressive stages of development. This exciting expansion is being led by Miranda Briggs, BSAC’s new Director of Swim Education. After a recent drowning spike in Hillsborough County, the BSAC aquatics team found Miranda, and used real case studies to restructure curriculum and create a plan of action, which will directly impact the youth in our area. BSAC’s 11th Annual Casino Night Raises Over $63,000 for Scholarships

Over 450 local business leaders and community members attended BSAC’s Annual Casino Night on Friday, March 29th, and boy, what a night it was! BSAC was able to raise over $63,000 in scholarship support for families in need of financial assistance. These children will now be able to participate in programs including swim lessons, summer camp, after-school, TRIDENT (special needs programming) and many of our other great programs. The night was highlighted by amazing food, cool casino games, a great silent auction, lots of dancing and a ton of fun.
