Olympic Gold Medalist, David Tarwater, Visits BSAC Blue Wave

Members of the BSAC Blue Wave swim team had a special guest speaker on December 24th, 2018. Olympic gold medalist, Davis Tarwater, spoke about his lifelong journey to the London 2012 games, inspiring young swimmers to work hard and chase dreams. His career started in high school when he set three state swimming records in his hometown, Knoxville Tennessee. Davis Tarwater went on to become a three time NCAA national champion and thirteen-time All-American during his time at the University of Michigan, where he won a Big Ten Medal of Honor in his senior season. 7th Annual TRIDENT Talent Show – Broadway or Bust!

Team TRIDENT put on a fantastic performance in our 7th Annual Talent Show, Broadway or Bust! Students practiced for months leading up to the show, which was held on December 14th, 2018 in the BSAC gymnasium. Every year, students in TRIDENT have the opportunity to shine on stage, expressing their unique personalities and gifts. Parents especially love seeing the joy on their child’s face as they finish their talent and step off the stage. Congratulations Kellen Denk and Rich Rogers, Team Leaders of November!

BSAC would like to recognize the Team Leaders of November, Kellen Denk and Rich Rogers. They were chosen based on their exceptional work ethic and nominations from fellow employees. Our BSAC team recognition program allows our families to learn more about our team members and the important roles they fill. Kellen first joined the BSAC team because he was looking for an after-school program that provided an educational experience in a different way.
