Pathways is intended for adults with specific learning disabilities over the age of 22. We offer job training in numerous fields including auto detailing, childcare, and landscaping/maintenance. Our goal is to provide independence to both the students and their families, so students can begin working and participating in our communities.
Students are placed in T.R.I.D.E.N.T. or Pathways using educational benchmark requirements. Students will be assessed on independence, behavior, educational levels, communication/self advocacy, focus/ learning strategies, and testing abilities/accommodations. A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and basic computer skills are required.
Pathways curriculum is more advanced than T.R.I.D.E.N.T curriculum. Program placement is not guaranteed to be permanent. Students can advance into Pathways after being enrolled in T.R.I.D.E.N.T.
