BSAC Director of Swimming, Rich Rogers, and the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) have successfully secured the rights to host a global Virtual Swim League (VSL), this summer at the Brandon Sports and Aquatic Center. Swimmers can compete in this event by way of the “Virtual Swim League” (VSL); structured by Coach Rich and the AAU. BSAC will hold three (3) VSL events throughout June and early July.
The season will end with BSAC hosting a swim event for the Junior Olympic Games. This will be a “blended” event—held onsite and virtually.
“This event will have a significant economic impact on our community,” says Coach Rogers. “We WILL have a season after all and the kids will get to set goals and have fun at the same time!”
